Eyesight Technologies has partnered with a China-based tier 1 supplier to supply its DriverSense driver monitoring systems to automakers in the Chinese automotive market, the company said in a press release on 16 July. Eyesight has not disclosed the identity of its new partner except saying the company is a “well known, publicly-traded” tier1 supplier. “Improving automotive safety is Eyesight's highest priority,” said David Tolub, CEO of Eyesight. “We are proud to partner with another Tier 1 and expand our already significant presence in one of the world's fastest-growing and most influential strategic global markets,” Tolub said.
