EDITORIAL: AABC Conference outlines solid-state progress, signals potential supply chain constraints
Achieving stability, cyclability, and safety of high-energy-density battery cells continues to be the primary focus of collaborative research programs involving academia and industry
Key stakeholders from across the automotive battery landscape came together at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego last week for the 19th annual U.S. edition of the Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC). The event brings together expertise from the academic and scientific communities, as well as interested participants from all tiers of the battery supply chain and automotive OEMs themselves. At such a prominent inflection point in the uptake of electric vehicles, the pooling together of expertise brings into sharp focus the challenges the battery industry now faces.
