Denso is considering acquiring Toyota’s stake in Aisan

Denso has reached a basic agreement with Aisan Industry to strengthen the competitiveness of their powertrain business, the leading Japanese supplier said in a press release on 20 May. Under the agreement, Denso is considering increasing its stake in Aisan and transferring parts of its powertrain business to Aisan. As of 31 March 2018, Denso has 8% stake in Aisan.
