Management Changes

New changes to become effective from 1 January 2019

Denso has announced certain organizational changes for enhancing competitiveness, according to a press release by the Japanese supplier on 27 December. The company will reorganize its Mobility Systems Function Unit and establish Mobility System Planning Division and Mobility System R&D Division. The new Mobility System Division will oversee business strategy whereas the Mobility System R&D Division will be responsible for technology development. Denso expects the reorganization of Mobility Systems Functions Unit will accelerate development of vehicle systems in connected and automated driving. The company has also decided to integrate its connected service business for trucks, buses and leased vehicles with Denso Ten’s service business for commercial vehicles, mainly taxis.
