Hella joins BAIC-led consortium to develop intelligent mobility infrastructure in Beijing

German supplier will provide its expertise in radar sensors and front camera software

Hella has joined a consortium led by Chinese automaker BAIC to develop intelligent mobility infrastructure in Beijing, China, the Germany-based company said in a press release on 11 September. Hella is one of the 13 members of the consortium which is developing solutions that enables communications between vehicles and their environment, for example, via traffic lights equipped with sensor technologies.
