Two companies to collaborate on in-depth exploration and R&D in battery technology

SAIC-GM, a joint venture (JV) between Chinese automaker SAIC and General Motors, has partnered with Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) for developing batteries for its range of electric vehicles (EV), Automotive News China reported on 11 September, citing SAIC.
