UMTRI welcomes Japanese automaker’s initiative

Toyota has invited around its 1,800 R&D team members and their families of Toyota Motor North America Research & Development (TMNA R&D) living and working in Washtenaw County in Ann Arbor, Michigan (United States) to get their vehicles equipped with the latest Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC)-based vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology connected vehicle systems, the Japanese automaker said in a press release last week.
