JLR tests fleet of connected cars on UK roads

Automaker is testing V2X communication technology under UK CITE Project

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is testing a fleet of connected cars, which can communicate with each other, on UK roads, the company said in a press release on 28 June. The trial in part of the GBP7.1 million (USD9.3 million) UK CITE Project that is working on creation of fully connected road infrastructure for autonomous vehicles.
