Infineon-led project to develop new approaches to IT security in self-driving cars

The three-year project brings together automakers, suppliers, tool makers and research institutes and universities to work on cybersecurity for connected and autonomous vehicles

Infineon will lead a 15-member project, called Security for Connected, Automated Cars (SecForCars), to develop new approaches to information technology (IT) security in self-driving cars, the project members said in a joint press release on 25 May.
