While sales of CNG-powered vehicles are gradually rising in the Indian market owing to their relatively lower operating cost, compared with diesel or petrol (gasoline) vehicles, their demand is inconsistent due to infrastructure bottlenecks

CNG has become “popular” in India because of their lower operating cost. Government does not provide any subsidy on the vehicle itself such as no tax break; but due to economical cost of operation, everybody is “looking” at it.
