Mazda's North American chief reveals revamped business strategy


Japanese automaker remains an export-dependent company, exporting to 135 countries from Japan and so is vulnerable to currency fluctuations

Mazda is at about the mid-point of a plan to rethink its business philosophy and reinvigorate its product line-up in North America, and is going into the next phases of this with a new chief. In January, Masahiro Moro added president and CEO of Mazda North American Operations to his responsibilities, which also include serving as chief marketing officer of Mazda Motor Corporation.
