Plant to become operational in summer 2017

Daimler will invest EUR500 million (USD543.6 million) to set up its second lithium-ion battery in Germany, the automaker said in a press release yesterday (1 March). The new plant will be adjacent to the first lithium-ion battery plant in Kamenz in eastern Saxson.
