Tata Power EZ Charge, India’s leading provider of electric vehicle charging solutions, is showcasing its vast infrastructure network and various offerings across customer segments at the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the company announced Jan. 20.
Aimed at addressing range anxiety among EV drivers by offering a robust and expansive charging network that spans city locations, residential societies, highways, commercial hubs and beyond, Tata Power’s EV charging solutions integrate green energy with technological innovation. The company is showcasing its offering across various segments covering passenger cars, buses, trucks, fleets and other applications.
Tata Power’s EZ Charge mobile app, which is a key focus among all products on display at the event, is designed to empower users with real-time updates, enabling them to locate EV chargers, check availability and manage charging sessions effortlessly. The company has also developed radio-frequency identification (RFID) cards, which help to offer seamless charging sessions and eliminate the need for launching a session via mobile applications. The RFID card may be used by all EV owners, regardless of brand.
The company is also displaying innovative solar-powered EV chargers and advanced charging solutions that emphasize renewable energy utilization. Working prototypes of these chargers, alongside other breakthrough innovations such as fast-charging solutions and AI-driven monitoring systems, as demonstrated at the event, highlight Tata Power’s capability to push the boundaries of EV charging technology.
Notably, Tata Power’s ever-increasing EV charging network has expanded to more than 5,500 public chargers over 550 cities and towns across India. The network also includes over 120,000 home chargers and 1,100 bus charging points. To accelerate EV adoption in India, the company has also partnered with all major leading original equipment manufacturers such as Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), among others.
