04-Nov-2024

As reported in a press release on Oct. 29, SiMa.ai has entered into a strategic partnership with the Maini Group, a key player in India's electric vehicle industry, through its company Virya Autonomous Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The collaboration aims to enhance autonomous mobility by integrating SiMa.ai's innovative ONE Platform for Edge AI into Virya Mobility's autonomous transport solutions.

Virya Autonomous Technologies is focusing on the development of AI-driven autonomous systems that prioritize intelligence, safety and efficiency in mobility solutions. SiMa.ai's edge-AI platforms are expected to enhance autonomous operations and pave the way for the next generation of mobility, offering benefits such as improved performance, lower power consumption and reduced total cost of ownership for applications involving autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). The partnership also plans to extend SiMa.ai's AI capabilities to other Maini Group companies, aiming to create a comprehensive AI-driven mobility ecosystem.

In addition to the strategic partnership, SiMa.ai has expanded its offerings with the introduction of MLSoC Modalix, a new product family within its ONE Platform for Edge AI, aimed at advancing generative AI applications. This move aligns with the broader objectives of the collaboration to deliver smarter, safer and more scalable autonomous mobility solutions that adapt to customer needs, positioning Virya as one of the first Indian companies to integrate SiMa.ai's platform into its systems.
