    Volvo recalls around 106,900 vehicles globally over faulty brakes
    Volvo has issued a recall of 106,900 vehicles worldwide over potential issues with automatic safety brakes, according to multiple reports on 25 January. The electronic braking support function is affected when the system takes over in the event of an emergency. It does not impact manual braking using brake pedals. Vehicles being recalled are model year (MY) 2023 C40, XC40, S60, V60, XC60, V90, and XC90 models. Volvo is set to issue a free software update to fix the issue.
