Christian, a native German, is responsible for the project management of the Autonomy forecast within IHS Markit based in Frankfurt. Since joining the company in October 2005, he has also developed and was heading the Electrics / Electronics focus area within the Supply Chain and Technology Group.
His extensive knowledge in the area of system's integration has enabled him to quickly form relations with key players in the market place. Some of the projects that Christian has been involved in included analysis of the in-vehicle network architecture strategies of selected vehicle manufacturers as well as market and technical trends for energy storage devices used in alternative propulsion vehicles.
Prior to his appointment at IHS Markit, Christian worked as an Industry Analyst with the Automotive Group of Frost & Sullivan’s Industrial team, based in London. He headed up the focus area of driver information and assistance systems as well as convenience electronics before developing and subsequently leading the focus area of Infotainment.
His extensive exposure to the R&D and marketing departments of various OEMs and suppliers has allowed him to develop a strong contact base within the industry. Christian incorporates a strong automotive background with valuable analytical and project management skills. His work has been published in various industry-based publications.
